Myth vs. Fact

Myth:  The games are rigged/ impossible to win!

Fact:  While I cannot speak for all institutions, there were NO games at Cedar Point which were rigged.  At the basketball games, people always thought the rims were bent, at ladder climb people thought there was a button I pushed to make them fall off, at wacky wire, people thought the machine went off spontaneously etc.  The fact is, the games are what they say they are.  Some are simply harder to win

Myth:  The game hosts try to make it harder.

Fact:  Almost all of us really wanted to see people win.  Of course, they are not going to bend the rules to make that happen, but, hosts are usually willing to share tips.  Many of the games, such as wacky wire- the win is not decided by the host, it is indicated by the machine.  These believe it or not, are not rigged.
